Fitness is so important to me. I believe that working out is a non-negotiable appointment that I have to complete everyday that I have something scheduled. I workout five to six times a week, sometimes even seven, by opting to have an active rest day. I feel best when I get at least three cardio sessions, two lifting sessions, and one day for pilates each week.
I have a membership to LA Fitness where I take LIVE Turbo classes, as well as, use the elliptical and free weights. I also refer to my arsenal of fitness DVD programs that I’ve gotten over the years through Beachbody. Being a Coach, I like to try out most of the programs and while I have my favorites, they’re all serious calorie crushers!
On January 19, 2010 I dedicated myself to the TurboFire ptogram. Ashley (my sister) and I did it together and saw great results. I love the TurboFire program so much – it’s definitely my ‘soul mate‘ workout. With the program I lost a total of 9.75 inches and 10 pounds. To amp things up, I purchased the weighted gloves to wear during the Turbo Fire workouts and I also purchased, ChaLEAN Extreme! It was time to tone, baby.
Over the years…
More recently, my goal has been to really increase my strength and focus on lifting more. While I don’t look as good as I did in 2012, (take me back, please!) I’m still working hard everyday to feel good about my body.
