How The Week Went Down

Hello, hello and Happy Friday!

It was another super quick week. It’s scary how fast the days are passing. This morning it was 51 degrees when I left my house at 7:00 a.m….I’m not ready for the cold!! I feel like winter just left us. Ugh!

We’ve been having some very Fall-like weather and I’m enjoying that – 70 and sunny is amazing!

After work, I’m headed back to Cleveland again to spend the weekend with Dan. He has to work for a bit on Saturday, so I’ll enjoy some ‘me’ time and a good workout before meeting up with him for lunch! The rest of the weekend is unplanned again, which is great with me – I’ve been enjoying winging it.

Here’s a quick recap of how the week went down.

FOOD 

After getting sushi with Dan last Sunday, I was craving it again in a bad way. I talked Ashley into going with me to get more on Tuesday. That stuff is addicting!!! I also ate a lot of wraps, eggs, and salads, as well as, some overnight oats, which I hadn’t had in forever! Those veg tacos were also a fave – I made them for dinner on Monday and took leftovers for lunch on Tuesday.

blog1Banana with peanut butter is my go-to snack right now. Is there anything more delicious??

For dinner tonight, I packed Spicy Chipotle Chicken Sausage that I snagged from Whole Foods  - I can’t wait to try them.

FITNESS

Ok – crazy as it may be for me – I’m addicted to morning workouts!!!! Previously, I was really enjoying them, but now, I PREFER them!

It’s a glorious thing…

blog2Emily and I came in to workout at 6:15 a.m. three time this week. We did FIX Lower DVD, HIIT 20 + Abs, and Johnson and Johnson 21 Minute Cardio Blast, which we added burpees and push-ups to.

I also got in an awesome upper body workout yesterday and some elliptical intervals earlier this week.

I can’t tell you the last time I went to the gym AFTER work to workout and it has been simply amazing having my evenings free. Additionally, with my new job, I’m exhausted by 5:00 p.m.  and the thought of going to the gym is horrendous. By completing my workout in the mornings, I have no choice to skip – it’s win-win!

I received a mystery offer from Express that ended up being $100 off $200 PLUS I had a $15 off reward… I mean, how could I not?? Here are the goods I ended up with…

I also got an additional, unpictured, tee and tank. So, 7 items, including jeans, for $100! I’ll certainly take it.

    All of your food looks fantastic! I’m now craving wraps and bananas with peanut butter! YUM! I’m so impressed with your early morning workouts too. Mornings are so tough, but I’m always so happy to get a workout in first thing when I can (which doesn’t happen too often!) I love all of your cute outfits SO MUCH especially that cute turquoise sweater outfit. SO CUTE!
