Weekend.

Good Morning and Happy Monday!

How was your weekend? Mine was mostly low-key, just as I hoped.

FRIDAY

I arrived in Cleveland by 7:00 p.m. and Dan and I just stayed in, which was perfect. I made us salads with chicken and we watched Divergent.

I was in bed by 11:30 – so nice!

SATURDAY

We woke up early and had coffee with eggs, spinach and pepper jack along with some banana.

The weather was absolutely incredible, so we did what any smart people would do… hit up a patio! Dirty Martini at noon…why not!?

Dan also took me to a new restaurant on the water called Merwin’s Wharf. They have the most amazing Bloody Mary’s!

Isn’t that sweet?! I ordered the jalapeño vodka one – heaven!

We walked along the water a bit and then headed to putt-putt. Another check off the Bucket List!

Once home, we just relaxed for a while before heading back out for some drinks and casino fun! I won $8 – woohoo!! We ordered pizza for dinner and then crashed!

SUNDAY

After sleeping in a bit, and feeling blah from the pizza, we took an hour and a half walk around downtown Cleveland.

It was lovely! We went by the Science Center, Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland Browns Stadium, and my favorite part, the water!

My happy place is definitely anywhere around water!

Once back home, we relaxed for a while and started the series, Tru Blood. So addicting!

For dinner, we went out and grabbed sushi, my favorite! The waitress talked us into ordering the ‘Other Roll’ pictured at the bottom – it was huge and pretty delish!

Overall, it was a great weekend – some low key mixed with some fun – and the weather couldn’t have been better!

How was your weekend? Do anything fun? Get out and enjoy the weather? What’s your favorite kind of sushi roll?!
