Summer Fun Bucket List

It’s already mid-week, perfect!

Today, I wanted to create a Summer Fun Bucket List that I can refer back to and see everything I got to do over the warm Summer months of 2014!

Some things on the list are repeats, that I do every year, while others are things I want to do and say I’ll do every year, but often run out of time. Hopefully this year I can get to everything!

Here we go!

1.) Go to my family cottage

2.) Take a vacation with Dan
3.) Attend a BBQ/Bonfire
4.) Spend a weekend in Put-in-Bay

5.) Have a fire and wine night with the girls
6.) Watch a fireworks show
7.) Go to an outdoor concert (prospects – Jason Aldean, The Fray, Jimmy Buffet)

8.) Go to Progressive Field to see the Detroit Tigers play the Cleveland Indians
9.) Putt Putt date night
10.) Visit the downtown docks on the water
11.) Get an ice cream cone with sprinkles
12.) Spend a day pool side and drink bud light limes
13.) Plan a weekend at Cedar Point/Soak City

14.) Build a sand castle
15.) Play cornhole
16.) Roast marshmallows
17.) Go to the Farmer’s Market
18.) Spend time on the beach

blog819.) Watch a Summer storm
20.) Canoe or kayaking
21.) Go to a Mud Hens game

blog322.) Enjoy a night out patio hopping Downtown
23.) Find and read a good book (any suggestions?!)
24.) Find a rooftop bar
25.) Grill pizzas

Just reading that list makes me happy! I can’t wait to do it all. Sadly, Summer weekends seem to pass so quickly, hopefully we can cram everything in. I’m looking forward to a lot of fun activities and events this Summer!

Tell me, what’s on your Summer Bucket List? Any good books you could recommend? Anything on my list that you’ll be doing, too?

Yes to all of the above!! Especially all the ones that involve bonfires. Im such a sucker for a good bonfire. Oh and an outdoor concert? I neeeeed one! I live in LA so we don’t really do outdoor concerts nearby, I would have to drive a bit to get to one, but still it sounds like such a fun thing to do!
On my bucket list would definitely be river rafting. It was one of my favorite things to do in the summer with my daddy back in the day, but Id love to do it with my hubby and siblings now! My daddy used to always [purposely] flip the raft over so we’d end up in the river…Id love to do that to my hubby and watch him scream! 😉

Outdoor concerts are the best! River rafting sounds fun, but I don’t think I’d want to be flipped! When I was little our canoe tipped and we all fell out – I was young – and it’s scared me for life, haha!

Cute! I shared this idea in a group for other bloggers that need writing prompts. I would like to go to Cedar Point with Rob, go on our first family camping trip, celebrate Quinn’s birthday, take an outdoor yoga class, and more!
