As you know, F2BF is a blog dedicated to finding the balance between getting fit AND having fun. I always talk about getting fit, so let’s lighten things up a bit today and talk about having some fun!
I’m a big martini lover – especially dirty martinis! I’ve posted about Dan and I going out and ordering them or making them at home – seen here, here and here. There’s just something about a good martini to start off the weekend or on a Saturday night while relaxing at home – you really can’t beat it!
Kenneth was quick to get back to me and excited about the idea especially because his mix is a better tasting, lower sodium, antioxidant rich dirty martini, which made his mix a perfect fit for my blog!
I was super excited when the box arrived and I knew I had to plan a tasting, ASAP! I couldn’t wait to crack open a bottle and mix up a drink.
1888 Dirtiest Martini Mix is made using a one-ton press and extracting the juice from whole Spanish olives – no fillers and no additives – just real olive flavor. Since 1888 is so pure, it has up to 60% less sodium content than other ‘martini juice’ mixes. Pretty cool, right?!
I really enjoyed it. For someone who doesn’t use much salt, I loved that it wasn’t overbearing. You totally get more of an olive taste and what was really cool, is that it actually left an oily residue on the glasses since the mix is pressed directly from olives. It also didn’t leave me feeling thirsty or dehydrated like some martinis do when they’re too salty.
Guess what? Now it’s your turn to try it! All you have to do is enter the giveaway for your chance to win a bottle! I will choose one lucky winner on May 6th (winner must live in the U.S.). Good luck!!
Thank you Kenneth for this awesome opportunity. I loved the chance to try the 1888 Dirtiest Martini Mix and will be using it again in the future!
Currently, the mix is only sold in stores in Texas, however, it’s typically available to everyone on Amazon – perfect!
