I’m back in action today after having yesterday off and spending time in Cleveland with Dan, his sister, Mandy and her husband, Jason. The weekend seemed so long and I was more than ready to get back to the usual routine today.
Let’s rewind all the way to Friday night.
A bunch of us met out for a drink and then we went bowling. I bowled my two worst games ever, I think, but it was still fun!
I opted to sleep in over going to workout. I made some breakfast and relaxed at home until we went to a chili cook off where Dan’s cousin’s band was supposed to be playing. They ended up not playing, so we just went to his cousin’s house where we sampled some of the beer he brews and snacked on cheese and crackers. It was a good time.
Later in the night I met my parents, sister and some friends out for dinner. I was super bad at taking pictures apparently because I don’t have any from Saturday.
I woke up super early to get ready to head to Cleveland. The plan was to arrive in Cleveland early, go to a Cavs game in the afternoon and have Sunday Funday. We were on the road by 8:15 and arrived to Cleveland by 10:00 – it was perfect timing. We got to lay low a bit and then head out to grab brunch.
After brunch, we headed back to Dan’s apartment where we hung out for a while until it was game time!
We had really good seats (thanks, Dan!) and it was fun being at the game – I haven’t been to a basketball game in years. We left in the third quarter, so I couldn’t tell you who won, but it was a good time!
Yesterday we slept in, grabbed some food at Hard Rock, again no photo, but I had the most amazing salad, it was huge and I took a ton of it to go. Then we relaxed until around 2:00 when we got on the road back home. Once home, I made Chocolate Shakeology, my body was craving nutrients and got my workout clothes on so that I wouldn’t skip it.
I ran (literally) over to my sister’s house where her, Brittany and I did TurboFire 45 and I followed that with Abs and then ran back home.
What a wonderful weekend we had!!
This week is going to be another busy one, so I already have lists going to stay on top of it all. Here’s how my workouts are going to look:
