How’s your day so far? Mine is thankfully going pretty quick. I started my day the way every Friday should be started…
At lunch, I’m going to go to the mall to look for a St. Patrick’s Day outfit! My hope would be to find a cute green and white striped dress to wear with boots. We’ll see what’s out there.
Last night, Ashley and I hosted girls night. When the girls arrived, we popped in Turbo Fire 30 and Laura and Mandy got to experience it for the first time. I think they liked it. Turbo is just something you have to do a few times before you can actually enjoy it. Since you have no clue what to expect the first few times, it can be challenging, but once you learn the moves and such, it’s a blast. We decided that as we rotate houses for girls night, we will rotate workouts. Laura just bought Insanity and Mandy owns P90X2, so we will always change it up, which is fun!
- Hummus with veggies and pita
- Chips and salsa
Perfect night, as usual!
Tonight, Ashley and I are staying in to party prep – we need to clean the house and cook a crap load of appetizers, as well as, make Jello-o shots! I won’t be able to spin, but I plan to get a workout done in the morning before the festivities begin.
On to some fashion…
I had a shopping itch this week and just went for it. Spring is right around the corner and I wanted some new dresses and ended up getting some great deals.
So, my new favorite website is www.6pm.com – it’s all name brand stuff, but at crazy low prices, plus no shipping and no tax. No idea how this is possible, but as long as everything arrives in one piece, I won’t be complaining!
I spent $115 and saved $190. Here’s what I got:
Alternative Apparel – Retail $78
Hurley – Retail $39.50
BCBG – Retail $108.00
Jessica Simpson – Retail $79.00
I also had a 30% off coupon for Kohls, so I made some purchases from there as well.
Sonoma – Retail – $40.00
LC Lauren Conrad – Retail $60.00
Nike Flex – Retail $65.00
Had I bought everything at full retail price, I would’ve spent $469.50 – CRAZY – but with coupons and sales I only spent $189.99, which is totally affordable for FIVE dress and two pairs of shoes!
I’m so excited for everything to arrive! I’ll keep you posted on how the 6pm stuff turns out.
Have a good Friday and even better weekend! xo
