TGIF! Gosh I’ve been ready to say that for days now! Woohoo, we made it!
Working 7 days in a row is not something I am use to and I definitely was sleepy, but I still managed to eat healthy AND get my workouts in.
On Monday, I posted my workout schedule, let’s see how I did.
Monday – Turbo + Muscle Madness
Tuesday – Extreme Results + Burn Circuit 3 (HIIT 20)
Wednesday – Burn it Off Recharge!
Thursday – REST > I did REST on WED and Burn it Off on THURS
Friday – Burn Circuit 1 + HIIT! > Doing Circuit 3 tonight
Not too bad…even though I didn’t follow the schedule exactly I still managed to sweat 4/5 days – and ya know what? I feel GREAT! Let me tell you, last night I really didn’t want to workout, at all, but luckily Britnye made me and this is why I LOVE fitness friends!
Afterward, we poured some wine and whined!
Then made pizza, obviously!
Girl date nights are the best! I won’t give up my girlfriends for anything!
Speaking of, tonight a ton of us turbo peeps are going out. Some people are taking a party bus, but we opted out and are just planning to follow them bar to bar! They decided on a ‘Desperate Housewives’ theme, so I need to get out my sparkles and heels!
Before I say goodbye for the weekend, I just wanted to share this easy meal with you that I made earlier this week.
Loaded Nachos with Chipotle Cream and Salsa
After a hard workout, I’m never starving, so I will either make a shake or a light meal. This time, it was nachos!
You will need:
– blue corn chips
– black beans
– green pepper
– greek yogurt
– chipotle seasoning
1.) Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Lay chips out on baking sheet.
2.) Top with black beans, corn, green pepper, onion and cheese. Pop in oven until cheese is melted.
3.) In the meantime, mix greek yogurt with chipotle seasoning – about 1/4 cup yogurt and 1 tsp. seasoning. I’m a taster so I just play with it until it tastes good to me!
4.) Top nachos with lettuce, tomato, avocado, salsa and chipotle cream.
EASY. DELICIOUS!! My kind of meal!
My sister added chicken to her half, which you could do as well to please everyone and my friend, Kayla, made something similar with quinoa, which was awesome, too!
Saturday – Suppose to rest..we’ll see! I might HIIT or do a light run if it’s nice out!
Sunday – There has been discussion of Extreme Results from 8:00-9:30, but I may just sleep in and do CX Burn Circuit 2 and Turbo later in the day.
I hope y’all have a GREAT weekend! Be active. Be productive. Be lazy! XO
