This is my way of documenting how the next 45 days are going to go for me. I considered doing before and after pictures, but I’m not sure if you’d be able to tell a difference. I might do it and if there is evidence that my body changed a bit, I’ll post. Sound good!?
Obviously, I won’t be in the exact shape I’m aiming for overall, in 45 days, but I can make a few changes to my daily lifestyle, so that I can go to Austin feeling and knowing I worked my ass off to feel the best I could when I arrive.
So, here’s the deal. Today, I bought the bathing suit that I’ll be taking with me, so that I have no excuses. Now, I have to get my butt into this bikini…and look good while doing it.
I have also set a calorie goal that I will aim for each day and continue to log into, ‘MyFitnessPal’. I’ve talked about this app for about a week now – it’s my new love!
So basically, I input my meals throughout the day and it calculates it so that I immediately know how many calories I can still consume that day. The good news is, I can also add a workout, so when I burn 300 calories, it’s adds that back into my daily calories so that I’m staying consistent with the 1250 goal. Make sense!?
On the fitness front, I’d like to be working out 5-6 times a week. I will do a combination of cardio (elliptical, turbo, running) strength (Muscle Madness class, Urban Iron class, ChaLean Extreme) and the Turbo Fire Abs DVD as well as ChaLean Extreme Burn Interval Abs.
Typically, six days of workouts would not be reality for me. Once Friday hits, I get my workout in, get ready, and head to the bar with my friends, but that is all about to change. I already had to turn my friend, Britnye, down for martinis tonight. Now, I know I can go to the bar and not drink…but there are more important things I’d rather be doing – don’t get me wrong, I’ll still be going out once in a while, but just on a much lower scale.
I am going to dedicate a lot of my free time to my Beachbody business. I’ve put it on the back-burner for far too long and I know there are many people out there that I could be helping reach their goals!
Let’s sum this all up, shall we:
Calories: 1250 + calories burned (usually 300-500) = 1550-1750 calories consumed daily
I will be drinking Shakeology almost everyday and once in a while, maybe twice a day. The rest of my food is going to be pretty clean and as usual, vegetarian. I need to eat more salads, so I’m going to make a huge one on the weekend so that I have it readily available to pack all week. I can tell you right now, I’m not giving up pizza – I’m just not. I’d fail. Plus, I believe in ‘Everything in Moderation’. However, when I do plan to eat pizza, I’ll be making it at home with super thin crust, lots of veg, and light cheese.
Monday – Turbo + Muscle Madness
Tuesday – Fit Club/TBD
Wednesday – Turbo + Abs
Thursday – ChaLean Extreme + Cardio
Friday – TBD
Saturday – Turbo + Urban Iron
Sunday – TBD
I use ‘TBD’ because those days aren’t set in stone and one of those days will end up being a rest day, possibly two of them, depending how my body is feeling – If I need to rest, I’ll rest!
Alcohol: I plan to cut out drinking A LOT, but when I do drink, it’ll be wine or vodka/soda/lime – with an exception of St. Patrick’s Day when all rules will go out the window! 😉 We love that day around here!
