So yesterday was by far one of the worst days I have had in a while. Basically, anything that could go wrong, did. I knew that the only thing that was going to fix my attitude was a hard workout – so that’s just what I did and it was GLORIOUS!
There are many studies that show a workout can improve your life in so many ways, such as – your sleep, overall health, sex life, skin, and more importantly for me yesterday, your mood!
I almost walked out of work because it was getting so bad, but I stuck it out and the only thing that got me through, was knowing I got to come home and burn off that steam by working out.
Once I got home, part of me felt like crawling in bed and pulling the covers over my face – and I came close, but since my workout gear was already set out, I got dressed and got my Turbo on. It was the best decision I could have made. I was a whole new person afterward all because I was able to work my frustrations out.
Whether you like lifting weights, running, walking, yoga, dance, Turbo, or a combination, it is important to incorporate activity into your life on a daily basis. Some days it may even be just taking your dog for a walk or going on a bike ride, but having that time set aside to clear your head and rejuvenate yourself is truly essential to a happy life and healthy body.
If you aren’t dedicated to moving to improve your life, try it. See how you feel. I guarantee it wont be for the worse.

Much needed smoothie after Turbo yesterday – ice, 1/2 banana, almond milk, SunWarrior Protein Powder, Amazing Grass and cinnamon. yum!
Jalapeno tortilla with spinach/romaine, cucumber, tomato, feta and kidney beans. I brought Light Caesar to add to it right before I chow down!
